So, May is here. The weather is getting warmer. Everyone is getting antsy. As we all continue to responsibly stay home (when possible) and await positive news, the yearning for something sexy and artsy is getting pretty fierce. We just might have a solution, though – artists and art lovers, the Seattle Erotic Art Festival proudly presents the Sunday Mini Art Tours.
We are working on scheduling at least one (but hopefully two!) 30 minute art tours every Sunday leading up to our SEAF-somes. The times for the art tours will shift by the week, because we are fortunate enough to have artists from all over the world who exhibit at SEAF. That does mean, however, that to accommodate those artists, some tours will need to be earlier than others (all scheduled times are PDT). The art tours are free to everyone, though you will need to register to get the Zoom link.
Each of these tours will feature one artist and the work they are exhibiting at SEAF2020. The art tours will consist of a viewing of the art, followed by an interview with the artist where they talk about their pieces and their process and any other juicy details they’re excited to share. It should also be noted that all of these pieces are for sale through the festival, so if you see something that excites you and calls to you, let us know. We can make it yours.
Also, we are working with Jennifer Jigour, who is doing a series called “The Erotic Art Ambassador.” Jigour interviews European artists featured in SEAF2020, many of whom submitted work to the festival for the first time this year. There are three videos in the series so far, and you can find them by meandering over to Jigour’s YouTube channel.
And if these mini-tours don’t satisfy your craving for art, you can always become a member of the Art Activist Society. Art Activists have digital access to all of the exhibition art, to peruse and shop at their leisure. Additionally, being an Art Activist supports SEAF and the Pan Eros Foundation, and allows us to continue on our quest of bringing sexy art to the world.
We look forward to seeing you all in the fall, and in the meantime we hope you enjoy this taste of what awaits. This Sunday’s Art Tour is with Paul Veron of Amazilia Photography, at 1:00 PM PDT. You may now run off and go register.
