Join Master of Erotic Art, Jim Duvall as they discuss their own take on a modern version of the pinup genre. Challenging assumptions and norms of sexuality today with the humor and innocence of yesterday.
Gallery Erato will be open 6pm-10pm this evening for browsing and art purchases. We will have a selection of original art, prints, and other merchandise from past SEAF artists, as well as from Jim Duvall. This art show will also be on display for August’s First Thursday art walk.
This is a free discussion. Please support events like these by purchasing art or refreshments, or becoming an Art Activist Society member. Art Activists will have access to an exclusive lounge with complimentary refreshments.
All sexes, genders, races, ethnicities, religions, sexual orientations, relationship orientations welcome and celebrated. This will be a courageous space based in harm reduction. This means that this is a safe space where it is okay to make mistakes and for people to let you know that you have made a mistake.
Salons have long been gatherings of like-minded people sharing ideas and connecting. The Seattle Erotic Art Festival follows this grand tradition of creating spaces for people to meet, talk, and share conversation and ideas. Salons of SEAF are scheduled approximately monthly.
Gallery Erato is located at 309 1st Ave S, Seattle, WA 98104. You can see more information about the event on the Pan Eros calendar here.
