Let Me Introduce You…

We’ve been teasing you for long enough – it’s time to share a new opportunity for fun with you! We’ve been busy little beavers working on a new quarterly event at Gallery Erato that we are simply calling SEAF: Late Night.

SEAF: Late Night recreates the vibe of Seattle Erotic Art Festival’s late night hours; shaking your tail feathers to unreal DJs whilst surrounded by epic, erotic art. Come dressed to impress and dazzle on the dance floor – from glam to funky to fun to wild costumes, we want you to express yourself! Just remember to cover your nips and bits. There will be a no-host bar making libations available.

Our first outing is Friday June 16th, and doors open at 9pm. We are excited to welcome the return of the super talented Haaps, who played Friday night of SEAF this year. Artwork on the walls will be by Nikki Jabbora – Barber, Moon Muse Studio, Bekah Boehm, Erek West, Jim Duvall, and more SEAF alumni.

Remember, that hot ‘fit or costume does not equal consent to touch. Getting verbal consent is sexy and mandatory. Like all SEAF events, this is an art-based, social party. While public displays of affection are allowed, sexual activity is not allowed due to the liquor license held by the event.

More about the June 16th artists

Happs

One of Seattle’s breakbeat godfathers, DJ Haaps’ career started in 1996 blending sounds from a CD player and a belt drive turntable using a radio shack mixer. With proper equipment, the simple beginnings immediately gave way to active bookings as one of the original residents of Broken Grooves.  Having played throughout the USA and having had long running residencies in D.C., Baltimore, Seattle and San Diego, his sound and stage presence have been appreciated by a broad range of audiences. His last tour around the world included shows in Thailand, London, and Barcelona.

Bam Bam

The unique and creative leathercrafter and kink artist behind Lost Heart Leather, Bam takes pride in bringing to life fantastical creations you won’t see anywhere else. They specialize in individually tailored artistic collars, enchanted masquerade masks, and unique bespoke paddles

Nikki Jabbora – Barber

Nikki Jabbora – Barber, a queer Seattle-based printmaker and teaching artist, was born in Bellingham, WA to an Anglo-Swedish father and Lebanese-German mother. She focuses on the way people communicate feelings, culture cues, and emotional safety through symbols.

Moon Muse Studio

“My music and art are explorations into my identity as an Afro Latina, my musing of sensuality and kink, my love affair with nature, and obsession with bodies in their infinite shapes and beauty.”

Hooligan Lili

Hooligan Lili is an illustrator/designer residing in her beloved Pacific Northwest. Lili finds her voice in erotic art, using it as a vehicle to deliver her thoughts, feelings, and stance on many topics in today’s news and in her own experiences, but always adding a bit of humor and/or snark for emphasis.

Stasia Burrington

Stasia is a Japanese American artist, born in Texas, raised in Montana and schooled at Cornish College of the Arts and the University of Idaho. She’s been working as an artist full-time since 2009, and currently lives in Seatac with her partner, Nicholas, and their cats, Kiki and Momo.

Bekah Boehm

Raised in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, Bekah Boehm (pronounced “Baym”) pulls her inspiration from nature as well as her time living abroad in Japan and Australia. She currently spends her time roller skating with friends and plotting her future graphic novel.

Erek West

Seattle based erotic photographer who has been featured two times previously in the Seattle Erotic Art Festival and gallery shows in Los Angeles and Chicago.

Jim Duvall

Jim Duvall was born a poor white boy on the banks of the Sumas River who became, among many other things, a sexuality educator and activist. Their art has been shown at the Seattle Erotic Art Festival and many other festivals around North America.
