We’re not content to just be a exhibition of some of the most decadent and sensuous art in the world. We want you to feel as if the experience were immersive, as if stepping into the hall was like stepping into a realm of art and eroticism. Rope Demon & Kneel Baby are lovers and co-conspirators using rope to slow down, giggle, and explore the edges of connection. Their 2024 SEAF performance will weave suffering, joy, and a slow burn unraveling into queer love.
Shibari Shawn & Charlie Bravo

“Wranglers and Cowboys”
Shibari Shawn and Charlie Bravo are members of the Seattle gay leather community. They have a Sir/boy dynamic and have been tying together for nearly 2 years. Shibari Shawn is also the founder of the House of Knotty, Seattle’s queer rope studio.
In “Wranglers and Cowboys,” they take a ride into the vibrant world of the gay leather community, weaving together elements of hypermasculinity by drawing inspiration from the bold aesthetic of Tom of Finland and the rugged imagery of western bull riders. This visual performance not only serves as a celebration of diversity, but also challenges conventional ideals of masculinity and heteronormative power dynamics to offer a thoughtful exploration of intersectionality within queer identities.
Blaming_Lilith & Sarah
Suspension Bondage
“Poison Garden”
Blaming_Lilith (she/her) ties as a creative outlet and a way to socialize with some of her favorite people. She has taught classes for Pan Eros and Victoria’s SPCfA, and she performed at the 2023 Friction. Despite being a safety nerd, she enjoys wild exploration and rooting for her bottoms to overcome new challenges. Sarah (she/her) is a curious and playful rope bottom who loves exploring the limits of her physical body. She loves to suffer with a smile.
Blaming_Lilith and Sarah mix dark and playful energy in their suspensions. Their 2024 SEAF performance is a moody take on flower bondage: a garden witch harvests an amanita mushroom surrounded by dark flowers and snowberries.

“Happy Hour”
J (they/ he) and Lancifolium (she/ her) have been tying together since 2022. They are known for their mischievous intent, minimalist rope, and questionable business partnership. This piece explores how the two prefer to spend a quiet evening in, shedding the stresses of the outside world.

“Riptide”
Get torn away by the sea, floating away in the tumbling currents toward the chasms lurking below. RawrrrWithMe’s ambient lyra act explores the connection between dichotomies: movement and stillness; ebb and flow; the salty spray of crashing waves, and the inevitable pull of a “Riptide.”

HuntorRide enjoys taking his pet Ten on long walks through the woods, sometimes just to hunt and tie them to a nearby tree or rock. The pair have enjoyed entertaining audiences while having fun and exploring how to do things differently. Expect something fun, sadistic, and likely a little silly…

He co-founded Denver Rope Salon in Partnership with Urban Sanctuary Denver (www.urbansanctuary.love), where he promotes an inclusive rope bondage community.

She is an international kink educator and author of Tying & Flying (the first-ever book about self-suspension) and Creating Captivating Classes (the first-ever book specifically for kink, sexuality, and relationship educators).

After turning Dr. Dangle into various pieces of furniture, they’re inspired by their snacks to go full pretzel.
