Join us on Saturday, February 29th in celebrating the Seattle Erotic Art Festival’s prestigious membership program, the Art Activist Society.
You are cordially invited to an exclusive soirée benefiting the Seattle Erotic Art Festival. We are pleased to host you at Gallery Erato, Seattle’s year-round home of erotic art. Join us for an evening of performances, live music, exquisite food, a unique way to participate in the art and support the festival, and a sneak peek at the 2020 selected art. This year, we are excited to honor our newest Master of Erotic Art, who will be announced soon!
Black Tie Affair tickets are available here!
Sneak Preview
One of the most exciting parts of this evening, is the preview of what SEAF2020 will offer. A slideshow of accepted and invited visual artists will be playing throughout the evening. Jurors and curators will be on hand to share stories about why particular pieces of art were chosen. The Festival Director will reveal exciting details of festival plans. Art Activists have the first opportunity to purchase visual art at the Black Tie Affair. What better way to avoid the disappointment of seeing a red dot on the piece of art you fall in love with?
Art Docents will be on hand to answer questions about art and process sales. All art that is purchased at the Black Tie Affair will be available for pick up at the end of the Festival on Sunday, April 28th. Art Activists that cannot join us at the Affair will be provided an online gallery to preview the art.
Entertainment for the Evening
Performances are being curated and they are sure to astound and amaze, leaving you breathless for what is to come at the Festival. Our Interactive Performance Curator, Icy London, is busy gathering up ambient artists to interact with you and bring more joy and performance to the event on a more intimate level. We have confirmed that the amazing Carson St. Clair and delightful Onyx Asili will be gracing our stage!
Carson St. Clair
A native of the Emerald City, Carson St. Clair has been on a stage almost her entire life. This multifaceted seductress brings over the top glamour to the stage.
After graduating Miss Indigo Blue’s Academy of Burlesque in October of 2017 Carson has been seen entrancing audiences all over including, Seattle’s historic Pink Door, Moisture Festival, and the Oregon Burlesque Festival. In 2018 she completed an apprenticeship with the Emerald City
Burlesque Revue under mentors Karmen Sutra & Jovie DeVoe. She is also 1/6th of Seattle’s all POC ensemble Dark Diamonds Burlesque.
Know for her glamorous classic teases, she possesses curves that kill and a bump and grind style that will leave you quivering for more.
Onyx Asili
Onyx Asili, the Warrior Next Door, is striving to live her best life because she doesn’t believe in getting out of bed to be mediocre. If she’s not hard at work, she’s definitely hard at play. You can often catch her living out her literary fantasies as a core member of Noveltease Theatre, cementing her geek cred with her latest nerdlesque act, or simply reveling in the day to day joy of Black Girl Magic.
Nibbles and Desserts:
This year’s amuse bouche is sure to delight with an assortment of savory and sweet treats. Select your own delectables or allow our our saucy servers to feed you. These delicious treats are perfect for your after-dinner nibbling pleasure. Don’t worry, we always have some gluten-free and vegan options. Libations will be on hand at a cash bar to help wash down there tasty treats, as well as a complimentary mocktail created just for this evening.
More ways to support the Festival
Buy raffle tickets for a chance to win baskets filled with sexy goodies from our sponsors, supporters, and donors. Raffle tickets will be on sale for $5 each, or $40 for an inseam or bust measurement in tickets.
This year’s raffle baskets will feature art from previous festivals, as well as items and treats from our wonderful donors, such as Twisted Monk and Wild At Heart. One of the “baskets” is a full sized MonkSak, with goodies to go inside of it!
Dress to Impress!
Our idea of “black tie” is more risqué than the average cocktail party, so feel free to wear those outfits you don’t normally get to pull out of your closet! For of those of you who enjoy costuming more than formal- or fetish-wear, we invite you to join us by dressing on the theme of “restraint” in honor of Gallery Earto’s current art show. Creative interpretation is encouraged. When in doubt, wear what makes you feel fancy or sexy.
