Early Bird and Interactive end this weekend!

Hello to all you adorable artists! We are almost halfway through the month of December (I know, I’m shocked as well), and that means two important events are upon us. Early Bird ends this weekend! So does the Call for Interactive!

Two dancers, one fully nude the second in pants, covered in paint. The second dancer is actively painting the first dancer as they move. Performance from SEAF 2024.

Sunday is the final day to take advantage of Early Bird pricing during registration. If you are submitting through the artist portal, you will want to hop on this before it’s gone. Until 11:59 pm on December 15, you can register in the portal for $20. After that, registration costs $38. Remember, you can register now and continue to submit new art and change existing submissions until the end of the call.

Sunday is also the final day for the Special Call for Interactive Proposals. Everyone submitting to Interactive should use this Google Form. The form will be shut down at 11:59 pm on December 15. Please make sure you have completed your submission by then.

More important dates!

The Call for Art is still open! Visual, Literary, and Store submissions will be accepted through the artist portal until January 15, 2025. Your fee allows you to submit up to 5 works to the festival. As we do each year, we are pleased to offer a scholarship program to artists from traditionally marginalized communities. (We are also continuing to accept donations to our scholarship program here.) As always, there is no submission fee for artists who live and create outside of North America.

The Pan Eros Film Festival Call for Film will continue to accept submissions until March 8, 2025. Submissions to PEFF are made through Film Freeway. We are accepting two types of submissions – short films and silent films.

The Call for Performance runs until February 17, 2025. Remember, Performance does NOT submit through the artist portal anymore, but rather through this Google form. We are looking for a variety of performance. From larger choreographed acts that would be at home on our 4Culture stage, to performers that are comfortable being out in the crowd doing ambient pieces among our guests.

Questions?

Don’t hesitate to reach out if anything is unclear or you have additional questions. The Call for Art pages contain a trove of information, and if you’re really stuck you can always email us at info@seaf.art. They can get you answers, or get you to people who have answers.
