Hello you brave and daring artists! Let out that breath you’ve been holding, the wait is over! The Visual, Literary, and Store results for their Calls for Art are in. You should have received an email letting you know whether or not your art was accepted. In the event that you did not receive the email (whether because it got caught in your spam folder or there was a typo in your email address – it’s happened before) you can check the Artist Portal to review your status.
As a quick reminder, the Performance and Film calls are still in the works. There’s a little more time before those decisions are made, but we promise to keep you posted.
We would like to acknowledge all of you for submitting. Many of us involved in the festival are also artists and writers and performers, and we appreciate how hard it is to put yourself out there. We are grateful for all of you. Without you, the festival doesn’t exist.
If your work was accepted, you should have received your contract by now. SEAF sends all contracts through SignNow, and you will need to use this service to sign your contract. We cannot accept a printed or emailed contract. If you haven’t received your contract yet, first check your spam folder, and then reach out. Visual and store artists should contact artisthelp@seattleerotic.org. Literary artists should contact literary@seattleerotic.org. Again, the only contracts that have gone out are for Visual, Literary, and Store.
If you submitted and have any questions about what happens next, feel free to send an email to your department. All leads are sending out information as quickly as possible, but we also understand that we might not cover everything. If you have more general questions about the festival, please feel free to reach out to info@seattleerotic.org.
