The 2024 Call for Art is open!

Is everyone ready? We’ve raided the local art supply store? We’ve got our caffeine of choice and the preferred word processor open? The playlist is set and the notebook nearby for choreography notes? That order for 30 lbs. of rhinestones has been placed? Excellent! Because creatives of all mediums, I am delighted to announce that the 2024 Call for Art is open!

Register before December 15!

We will be offering a special Early Bird discounted fee of $20 for submissions before December 15. After the 15th, the submission fee with be $38. We are also happy to continue to offer a scholarship program to artists from traditionally marginalized communities.

Visual, Literary, and Store use the portal!

Whether you are submitting Visual, Literary, or Store, you will be submitting your work through the artist portal. The portal has gone through some revisions this year, and we hope you’ll find it even easier to use. The festival director, Sophia Sky, will be hosting a virtual art portal tour and Q&A session on December 6. You can sign up here.

For Film, you will be submitting your work through Film Freeway. Interactive artists need to use this Google form. Performance artists need to use a different Google form.

You can register now, and continue to add submissions throughout the call!

While a deadline can be very motivating, you also can’t rush the process. So even if you’re not quite ready, or only have one piece finished with more to come, go ahead and register now. Take advantage of that Early Bird discount. You can continue to edit and add to your submissions until the Call for Art closes.
