Seattle Erotic Art Festival is proud to present another Late Night At Gallery Erato art opening on Friday September 8th. These events recreate the vibe of SEAF’s late night hours: dancing to deep DJs whilst surrounded by epic erotic art and gloriously gorgeous people. Come dressed to impress and dazzle on the dance floor – from glam to funky to fun to wild costumes, we want you to express yourself! Just remember to cover your nips and bits as there will be a no-host bar making libations available.
For our next outing we have invited our artists to create whimsical and mythic erotic art for this event. And wait until you see what Angelina Elise, Black Omi Art Co., Chardé Brown, and Dain Delaney came up with! We are excited to welcome the Mr. Linden to our decks, a resident DJ at Train Car House Party, to help us celebrate this delightful new art show.
Meet The Artists
Mr. Linden
Mr. Linden is a DJ, Designer, and Producer who revels in the Northwest’s true underground community. His love for dance music began in the 70s, was influenced in the 80s, grew up in the 90s, and has been honed over the last couple of decades. Being a radio DJ was a childhood goal that was achieved with college radio in Alaska, but amid the surprisingly healthy rave scene up north he realized the DJing live was calling. He took baby-steps into the Seattle DJ scene in the early aughts and now he plays music appropriate for the moment, keeping the dancefloor moving with classics and exposing the dancers to brand new tracks. Currently Jeremy is one half of the DJ duo “Lo|Key”, a resident at Train Car House Party & Soft Option, and co-hosts Back of the House with team Underscore. He also has releases and remixes on Underscore, Late Night Munchies, and Selekta Records.
Chardé Brown
Charde’ Brown is a self-taught artist currently residing in western Washington. She started painting in earnest in 2019 and works with acrylic, oil, and often incorporates a variety of media in her paintings. Charde’s art portrays African American women and men in their rawest form. Her art exhibits feelings, emotions, trauma, and beauty through her eyes as a black woman.
Angelina Elise
Angelina Elise is a self taught artist with a folksy style that is simultaneously drenched in whimsy and drama. She is drawn to the idea of lovers, murder ballads, and songs that tug the heartstrings. Sometimes her personal feelings about someone, or someplace, can make its way into her drawings, paintings, or the occasional spanky thing. Angelina explores this world through her senses and emotions which is both rewarding and disastrous. “Art helps me navigate and process this deep sea of feelings I am constantly floating, treading, or even drowning in.” Angelina also creates leather crafts available through howdyhandmade.com.
Dain Delaney
Dain Delaney is an artist living and working in Seattle. He has been making erotic art for almost a decade now and focuses primarily on portraying the grace of gender nonconforming figures in art. As a transgender artist, Dain uses his work as a vehicle to explore his own desires and identity. “I hope to breathe new energy into the erotic art world.”
Black Omi Art Co.
Genea Morrow is a self-taught artist and creative entrepreneur based out of Maryland. Her interest in art began in 2012 but veered in the direction of modeling and photography; it came full circle in a figure drawing class in 2017. She then took the time to fall in love with creating shapes out of shadow work using charcoal as her medium. It wasn’t until 2021 that she started to play in paint. Genea began a fulfilling career co-owning a children’s educational toy store, J.I.L.L.’s Toyshop, and launching Black Omi Art Co. Though her journey wasn’t always easy, she often opens up about her struggles with imposter syndrome and how she continuously works on her insecurities surrounding her late start to paint. She now creates paintings that tell her story, a story heavily influenced by her history with religion and spirituality, overshadowed by her exploration of her sensuality. Her work is centered around creating the feeling of familiarity, power, and freedom. To highlight the internal battles of feminine and masculine energies women may feel.
