This year, Gallery Erato is hosting the visual art showcase of Seduction. As you enter, you will see art depicting the darker side of eroticism in paintings, illustrations, glass, photography, and on vinyl. These spooky, yet alluring, pieces of art are nothing to be scared of. Many of these artists are Seattle Erotic Art Festival alumni, and some are new to all of us. All art is for sale, so bring your art collecting appetite!
Meet The Artists
Sirens Call 2 by Mani C. Price
Stasia Burrington (nee Kato) was born in Texas, grew up in Montana and now lives and works in SeaTac, WA with her favorite man and two cats. She is a full time artist/illustrator. Her passions lie in the arts – in all forms, experimental cooking, camping, theology and science fiction, fat nerdy science books, coffee and ice cream.
Hooligan Lili is a Web professional who creates a variety of art in her free time. Her degree in Graphic Design and a list of favorite artists including Alberto Vargas, Alfons Mucha, and Olivia De Berardinis, with a bit of Molly Crabapple thrown in, influence Keri’s style.
Her work has been shown at Gallery Sesso, Seattle Erotic Art Festival, and private clubs and coffee shops in the area. One of her comic illustrations has been showcased in the San Diego Comic Con souvenir programs. Keri has also donated work to a number of charity auctions including the Women of Wonder fund raising campaign, Twitter Art Exhibit, and the Portland Timbers Community Fund. A native to the Pacific Northwest, Keri currently resides in Portland, Oregon.
Alison Park Douglas is a Seattle-based photographer who mostly focuses on event and travel photography, but sometimes plays around in the studio, or underwater! Alison’s photos have been featured in a wide variety of publications – from newspapers such as ‘The Seattle Times’ and ‘The Stranger’ to the books ‘1,000 Steampunk Creations’, ‘Erotic Signature: The World’s Greatest Erotic Art of Today, volume 5’, and ‘L’Amour a Nudo’. She received a Performance Award from the 2015 Humanity Photo Awards (organized by UNESCO). One of the highlights of her photo career was having her photos published by ‘Business Insider’ as two separate photo essays of over 24 photos each. Her photos have been accepted in SEAF before, and this is her first time being invited to show her work at Seduction.
Jim Duvall began his career as an erotic photographer in the early days of the World Wide Web when he started janesguide.com with his former partner. He provided content for many online endeavors including bondage.com. His art has been shown at the Seattle Erotic Art Festival and many other art festivals around North America. He helped start The Betty Pages, an LGBT magazine, and was a writer and photographer for the magazine for 5 years. Currently, he works as a fine art photographer in Seattle, WA.

Eric Schandelmeier has been tattooing professionally for ten years, and while his work spans many different tattoo styles, he’s particularly drawn to realism, mixed with geometric and abstract elements. Trash polka, biomech, and layered “photoshop-style” compositions are particularly interesting to him.
Jessica Cronn invites you to consult the cards and decipher how they relate to you. The first of her tarot card series, these cards can turn and flip to be read in either direction. The Lovers, The Hanged Man, Death, and The Devil. She is delighted to debut her art at Gallery Erato for Seduction.
Kat Cronn is an Arizona based artist, she has participated in shows in Phoenix and Tucson. This is her first experience in the Seattle art world. “The process of creating my sad girls is cathartic; these girls hold my secrets, share my pain, and stand strong for me. I often start out drawing myself, as the work progresses the girls evolve. I let them live a different life from mine, sometimes fantasies, sometimes nightmares; they remain mysterious and I only get to see one scene. They aren’t from highly constructed, fleshed out narratives, the whole drawing comes together to show one moment.”
John Santerineross is an American photographer with a background in ceramics and painting. He is considered to be a “neo-symbolist”, an artist that continues or reinterprets the 19th century art movement Symbolism. Like its predecessor, neo-symbolism focuses on the spiritual, the subconscious, and dreams. Santerineross’ unique style and content has inspired an entire new generation of artists; his complex aesthetic is derived from a combination of his exposure to Catholicism and Santeria and by his fascination with Greek mythology, world religions and iconography.
