Vickey Miellie
Vickey Miellie is the co-owner of Wild at Heart in Seattle, your friendly neighborhood sex store. Since it’s opening in 2006, Wild at Heart has been a supporter of the Seattle Erotic Art Festival and the Center for Sex Positive Community. Vickey is passionate about providing the community with a safe and knowledgeable experience while shopping for sex toys. She is also an erotic art collector, avid traveler, and volunteers with several community programs.
Michelle Sullivan
Michelle Sullivan is Seattle Erotic Art Festival’s Project Manager. She feels grateful to support this unique festival, which creates a safe space for erotic art and conversations about sexuality. Michelle has a Master’s Degree in Art History from San Francisco State University, where her graduate studies were focused on an investigation of erotic art produced by women. As an art student, she was honored with internships at Art & Auction Magazine, The Andy Warhol Foundation, the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden at the Smithsonian Institution, and Gallery Paule Anglim. After art school, she worked as a gallery assistant at the Dorothy Weiss Gallery. While in San Francisco, she completed the Sex Educator Training at San Francisco Sex Information and worked as a volunteer answering questions from the public about sex and sexuality. It is with great passion and excitement that Michelle joins the jury for SEAF this year!
Charles David Kneller
Charles David Kneller (Dave) studied Fine Art and Art History at Victoria University in Wellington, New Zealand. While Dave’s main area of focus was in sculpture and printmaking, he’s also spent time working as a photographer and graphic designer. Dave believes that art should be accessible and inspirational in addition to being emotional. Dave believe that everyone has a contribution to make, and that we should seek out new experiences, ideas, and voices as responsible human beings.
!Kona
!Kona is a Queer Femme Dominant who is currently employed as a municipal cultural bureaucrat. She has worked on and off with a range of cultural non-profits for over 20 years, has a background in governmental social justice work and sometimes acts professionally for film & TV. Personally and under the moniker NubianImp Projects, !Kona has been actively troubling minds and bodies in her local, national and international Leather/BDSM communities since 1998. She is an educator, and has compulsively produced community events with a focus on the non-technical aspects of Leather/sex-postitivity for queers, chosen-families, their allies and POC community. Artistically, she quietly writes works which have mostly been experienced from the stage, and has exhibited art on both sides of the border. Her last major work was the Queeriodic Table which toured to SEAF in 2011. While planning more art projects, !Kona agitates & advocates in online social spaces and is simultaneously researching, procrastinating, and writing her first novel.
