Last Saturday night, 1200+ people came together in Seattle Center’s Exhibitionist Hall for Seduction to celebrate freedom of personal expression and sex positivity.
Our performers, DJs, volunteers, and guests turned out in full regalia and created the most exciting and eye-popping Halloween spectacle we have hosted so far! The costumes were fantastic and varied. The music had the dance floor pulsing. The performances were raucous and delightful, with Lowa DeBoomboom as the perfect MC. There are so many memories of the evening that are worth mentioning, and not enough space to list them all.
Aside from a celebration, Seduction is also a fundraising effort to support the Seattle Erotic Art Festival, the flagship program of the Foundation for Sex Positive Culture. Every year for Seduction, our goal is generate enough income to pay the deposit for the following year’s Festival. This deposit is 55% of the rental fee for the Festival.
Thanks to you, last Saturday night was a success, both energetically and financially.
This year, we had a secondary goal: we hoped to make enough money at Seduction to pay the whole rental fee for #SEAF2016. We almost made that goal. We are a little over $6,000 short. Please help us reach this goal by donating online or mailing a check to our office, or call me at (206)229-2185. Your help is most appreciated.
Our photography team is hard at work editing the plethora of photos that they took over the course of the evening. As soon as they get this task done, we will be sure to let you know. In the mean time, enjoy this video of the Ritual Fire Performance by Reify Dance Company! If you have your own pictures you would like to share with the world, please use the #Seduction2015 hashtag on social media so we can enjoy your creativity and juiciness again!
With much gratitude and joy,
